5gear is a price-tracking service for sport and outdoor gear sold by Australian retailers. We collect and display product and pricing information from retailer websites so you can compare prices and follow price changes over time. We do not sell any products, process payments, or handle orders, shipping, or returns. All purchases happen on the retailer's own website under the retailer's terms. We also maintain a directory of venues and social sessions — badminton, table tennis, pickleball, tennis and squash — across Australia.
Prices and availability are collected periodically and can change at any time. The price shown on 5gear may lag behind or differ from the price shown at the retailer. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's website before making a purchase. We provide the information on an “as is” basis and do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or up to date.
You may create a free account to save price alerts. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Price alert emails are sent on a best-effort basis; we are not liable if an alert is delayed, not delivered, or the price changes again before you act on it. You can remove your alerts at any time from the My Price Alerts page.
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, scraping it at volumes that degrade it for others, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that misuse the service.
Venue and social session listings are sourced from publicly available information, and some are submitted or edited by users. We do not guarantee that opening details, session times, or other listing information are current or accurate. We recommend confirming details directly with the venue before attending. 5gear is not responsible for any loss, injury, or inconvenience arising from attending a venue or joining a social session listed on the service.
Product links take you to retailer websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those websites. Product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law — including the Australian Consumer Law, which may give you rights that cannot be excluded — we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on information shown on it, including purchase decisions made based on displayed prices.
